It is handloomed by a community of traditional artisans in India who are dedicated to preserving time-honored techniques passed down through generations.

Use & Care

To Store: Fold or roll neatly after use. Store in a cool, dry place to preserve color and weave integrity.

Initial Use: Machine wash separately in cold water before first use, as colors may fade or bleed.

To Clean: Machine wash in cold water for routine cleaning. Hang to dry. Do not place a wet rug on wooden floors as it may damage the surface.

Additional Notes: Designed for outdoor flow on sand, grass, or uneven terrain, it’s made to get dirty and wash clean. Hand-loomed from recycled cotton, the Shala Rug is travel-ready, easy to care for, and built to move with you, wherever you practice.
